Před osmi lety začal mladý dokumentární fotograf Imrich Veber intenzivně zaznamenávat prostředí opavského Mariana, zařízení poskytujícího sociální služby klientům s mentálním či vícenásobným postižením. Celá instituce tou dobou zároveň procházela (a dodnes prochází) transformací a proměnou koncepce sociální péče, která se pak stala ústředním tématem Veberova souboru. Vznikl tak v rámci České republiky jeden z nejzajímavějších dokumentárních cyklů posledních dvaceti let.
