Steven Berkoff je anglický herec, spisovateľ a režisér, najviac známy svojimi úlohami zloduchov. Jeho skoré hry, často zamerané na témy odcizenia a psychologickej komplexnosti, sú adaptáciami diel Franza Kafku. Neskôr Berkoff skúmal diela inšpirované punkom o mládeži z robotníckej triedy a rozvinul svoj charakteristický štýl „total theatre“, známy svojou intenzívnou fyzickou provokatívnosťou a estetikou „do tváre“, ktorá vyvoláva silné reakcie.
