Dieter Roth bol švajčiarsky umelec, známy svojimi autorskými knihami, grafickými listami, sochami a dielami z nájdených materiálov. Jeho diela, často s temným podtónom a zúrivou energiou, sa odlišovali od ľahkovážnejších umelcov Fluxusu. Napriek divokej energii Roth disponoval pozoruhodným kresliarskym a tlačiarenským umom, čo jeho dielam dodávalo virtuóznu formu.
