Low carbon policies have initiated a new race for hybrid and battery electric propulsion technologies for vehicles. Forming a new technological trajectory that will become sustainable is a societal process. What can we learn from France, Europe’s current leader in electromobility?
International cooperation becomes a keyword in higher education. In the past, cooperation between scholars from the North and the South, both in teaching and research, was predominantly characterized by dependent relationships. Looking at recent experiences from the European and African perspective, the authors of this book analyze the conditions for and recent efforts in academic cooperation between Europe and Africa and draw some lessons for an improved partnership in this cooperation.
