Vom April 2013 bis in den Oktober hinein lebe und arbeite ich in Sehlis. Sehlis ist ein kleines Dorf von rund 160 Einwohnern, so genau konnte mir das keiner von denen, die ich fragte, sagen. Sehlis gehört heute zur Stadt Taucha und liegt sehr nahe bei Leipzig und Sehlis liegt in der Parthenaue. Es ist sehr schön hier. Die Endmoränen sorgen für eine sanfte Dünung der Landschaft: Es gibt Felder, kleine Wälder, Hecken, Bäume entlang der Feld- und Wirtschaftswege. nichts dominiert für lange - das Gelb des Raps’ für vielleicht zwei bis drei Monate, aber dann ist es auch wieder weg. Kleine Haine stehen auf den Moränenkuppen. Haine und Buschhecken und Alleen aus Birken und Weiden, Pappeln und Eichen – und alle Blätter klingen verschieden.
