Komplexní pojetí čirého pekla na Zemi, jakým Osvětim bezesporu byla. Kniha, kterou má každý zájemce o holocaust ve své knihovně a která bez příkras popisuje, co se zkrátka popsat nedá. Po přečtení každé knihy, která rozebírá toto téma, jsem čím dál víc znechucen nad lidmi, kteří na mne hledí skrz prsty a nechtějí pochopit, proč se zabývám touto tematikou. Přitom je to to nejmenší, co pro všechny oběti holocaustu můžeme udělat. Znát jejich jména, vzpomínat na ně, vzdát hold hrdinům, kteří se nevzdali a soucítit s jejich osudy. Proto vnikají tyto knihy a dokumenty, aby se na tuto dobu, oběti a přeživší NIKDY nezapomnělo. Troufám si tvrdit, že je to snad i povinnost. Není tu řeč o preferencích, jakožto žánru četby, ale o morálce a úctě.
