The economic texts contained in this publication serve as a resource for courses aimed at students focused on economics. The texts are designed for intermediate learners (B1-B2 according to the Common European Framework). The content of each section is based on original materials and has been further developed into exercises and translations. The aim of the publication is to familiarize students with basic professional terminology in key areas of economics, including a specific focus on tourism. The introductory part of each lesson addresses the relevant professional terms and their explanations in English. Additionally, there are shorter texts accompanied by various forms of exercises.
