Farrell Brannigan, president of the California National Bank, has opened a new branch in Sharnville, a growing town on the California coast. Thanks to the work of Larry Lucas, an outstanding young expert in electronic security systems, he has successfully promoted the bank in the media, rightfully calling it "the safest bank under the sun." However, an unrelenting psychopathic enemy from Brannigan's past emerges, seeking revenge and plotting to rob the bank. Or is there something more sinister at play? Lucas has just met the girl of his dreams and envisions a happy life with her, but instead finds himself caught in a web of blackmail and murder from which there seems to be no escape.
