The three Bones, Fone Bone, Smiley Bone, and Phoney Bone, must flee their hometown and become separated, finding themselves in a mysterious valley inhabited by wondrous creatures. The beautiful Thorn offers Fone Bone her assistance in locating his cousins and returning to Boneville. However, they soon encounter voracious rat monsters, and the adventure begins.
