Adelina Amouteru is a survivor of the blood fever that ravaged her nation a decade ago, leaving her with a jagged scar where her left eye once was and silver hair that marks her as a malfetto, an abomination in the eyes of her cruel father. While most infected perished, some survivors are rumored to possess powerful gifts, known as the Young Elites. Teren Santoro, leader of the Inquisition Axis, is tasked with hunting them down, believing they are dangerous and vengeful. However, he harbors a dark secret of his own. Enzo Valenciano, a member of the Dagger Society, seeks out fellow Young Elites before the Inquisition can. When the Daggers find Adelina, they uncover her extraordinary powers. Torn between believing Enzo is an ally and viewing Teren as the true enemy, Adelina grapples with her own desires for vengeance. As their paths intertwine, each character faces personal battles, and Adelina's latent abilities reveal a vengeful darkness within her. Determined to reclaim her power, she resolves to turn the tables on those who have wronged her, ready to unleash her fury on anyone who dares to cross her.
