Set against a vibrant fantasy world filled with magical creatures, the story follows Aila, the head phoenix keeper at a renowned zoo dedicated to conserving endangered firebirds. Her dream is within reach, but the zoo's breeding program has been stagnant for a decade. When a tragic phoenix heist at a nearby zoo disrupts the conservation efforts, Aila must demonstrate that her facilities are capable of taking over the initiative. However, saving the species requires more than just expertise in animal care. Aila struggles with engaging zoo patrons and musters the courage to seek assistance from Luciana, the hotshot griffin keeper and her college rival. Luciana, with her brooding demeanor and striking looks, believes Aila’s phoenix should be showcased as a performer rather than just a conservation exhibit. As Aila navigates the challenges of her job, she faces the looming threat of poachers and the pressure of public scrutiny. Her success is not just about maintaining her position; it’s crucial for the future of the phoenix species. The story weaves together themes of rivalry, romance, and the fight for conservation in a world where magic and reality collide.
