When twenty-year-old Pat rents a room from handsome and cocky Bruce, she inherits some delightfully colourful neighbours: Domenica, an insightful and eccentric widow; Bertie, a five-year-old whos̕ mastered both saxophone and Italian; and Irene, his overbearing mother.
