A librarian, an NFL star, and a fake engagement – what could go wrong? In the library where Mae works, NFL star Chris hides from his fans. He is infuriatingly hot, muscular, and considered the Sexiest Man Alive. Mae finds him incredibly unlikable. Then Chris persuades her to join a book club – he enjoys reading romantic comedies just as much as Mae does – and they begin to grow closer. Until a dubious photo of him appears in the press, and he suddenly asks her the one question Mae only knows from her romance novels. Did Chris just seriously ask her if she wants to marry him?
