Ústřední dvojku Thulinovou a Hesse jsem si oblíbil právě díky jejich počátečním neshodám a tomu, jak si postupně vybudovali vzájemný respekt a chuť skutečně řešit případ. A přitom ani jeden z nich není superman, jen umějí přemýšlet, když je potřeba. Z knihy je cítit, že autor je oceňovaný scénárista.
