The book critiques modern state law for rendering certain populations invisible and irrelevant, highlighting the historical experience of the Global South. Rejecting the notion of 'the end of history,' the author proposes hopeful alternatives to social exclusion and legal domination, advocating for the realization of post-abyssal legal utopias.
