Viac o knihe
This book explores criticisms of J. R. Lucas' use of Gödel's theorem against mechanism, stemming from the author's graduate work. It examines the complexities of incompleteness arguments, the connections between formalism and mechanism, and the Church-Turing thesis as a defense of mechanism, ultimately reshaping the author's perspective on these philosophical debates.
