Exploring the nature of political freedom, this work adopts an interdisciplinary approach, integrating social theory, history, law, philosophy, and political theory. It posits political freedom as a vital social norm that fosters social order and security, while promoting tolerance of diverse beliefs that can lead to normative conflict. By distinguishing political freedom from personal freedom and challenging its common association with individualism, the text argues for its role as a fundamental virtue of social justice.
