Born in Latvia in 1935 to Russian émigrés, Anatoly Bezkorovainy's life journey spans multiple countries and significant historical events. After fleeing to Germany and eventually emigrating to the U.S., he pursued an academic career in biochemistry, earning a Ph.D. and becoming a full professor at Rush University. A prolific author, he has contributed to various fields, including iron metabolism and Russian science history. Active in the Orthodox community, he resides in Illinois with his wife, occasionally lecturing on biochemistry.
