Conceptualizing Biblical Cities

Focusing on the city image in the Hebrew Bible, this book introduces a novel framework informed by spatial theory to analyze the concept of 'city.' It challenges traditional views by demonstrating that biblical cities are not inherently evil or feminine and reveals that the metaphorical language describing Jerusalem is similar to that used for other cities.
