Viac o knihe
The story follows four Gen X friends who, now middle-aged, confront their painful past linked to a high school teacher's hurtful remarks. After discovering a suicide note from a friend that references the teacher's insensitivity, Tip and his best friend Nat reconnect with former teammates to share their experiences. This journey of reckoning leads them to confront the retired coach in Florida, exploring themes of accountability, healing, and the long-lasting impact of words. The narrative balances humor and poignancy as they seek closure.
