Jill Lowe made her first trip to India for all the wrong reasons. After seventeen years of marriage her husband had gone bankrupt with her inheritance. For over a decade Jill worked as a tour guide to support her family while unsuitable men came and went. One day she decided to prove how independent she was. She would spend three months in India, a place she knew very little about. Despite seeing the south with a companion who never stopped complaining, Jill fell in love with the country.
