Focusing on the social mechanisms of stigmatization faced by people living with HIV/AIDS in China, the book employs theories of social exclusion, actor, and stigma to analyze their impact on education, employment, healthcare, and social relations. Through qualitative research involving interviews with both PLWHA and non-infected individuals, it aims to construct a policy framework addressing these issues from a welfare pluralism perspective. Targeted at graduate students, researchers, and policymakers, it offers insights into improving the lives of those affected by HIV/AIDS.
