As Sokobin navigates the Yangtze River and various Chinese locales, he grapples with his own identity as the son of Jewish immigrants and the haunting absence of his fighter pilot brother in France. The journey not only seeks to uncover the truth about Meyer but also forces Sokobin to confront his past and unfulfilled connections.
