The purpose of this book is to provide nurses with a comprehensive approach to the diagnosis and management of haematologic and oncologic disorders in children. It emphasizes clinical features, pathophysiology, and current therapies for these disorders and the psychosocial sequelae of the disease and its treatment. Although the book has been designed for nurses, it should also provide a reference source for other professionals, including trainee physicians, social workers, therapists and dietitians.
