"I have sensed a disturbance in the Force." These ominous words from Emperor Palpatine signal a growing threat to the Empire on Batuu, at the edge of the Unknown Regions. This potential danger, though still a mere glimmer, is concerning enough for the Emperor to dispatch his most powerful agents: the ruthless Lord Darth Vader and the brilliant Grand Admiral Thrawn. Despite their fierce rivalry for the Emperor’s favor and differing views on Imperial matters, including the Death Star project, they must collaborate on this critical mission. However, the Emperor's command holds deeper implications than either man realizes. Years earlier, General Anakin Skywalker of the Galactic Republic and Commander Mitth’raw’nuruodo of the Chiss Ascendancy encountered each other while pursuing their own agendas. Their paths converged on a distant world, leading to an uneasy alliance forged in the face of danger—unaware of their intertwined destinies. Now, reunited, they return to that same planet, where they will face challenges that test their loyalty to the Empire and confront an enemy that threatens their combined strength.
