At the beginning, there is a boy named Zach and an unforgettable experience: a swimmer regularly plunging into cold water. At the end, there is also a swimmer in the cold water, perhaps smiling. In between, there are parents, classmates, and a multitude of misunderstandings, disbelief, fears, and futile attempts. Yet, there is also patience and trust in those closest to him and in his own body. This is a story about strengthening relationships through the practice of cold exposure, inviting readers to experience the magic of cold water.
