Liann's story: After watching the disintegration of her parents' marriage. Liann McDowell had vowed never to fall in love with a cop, but Cody Wakefield seemed all too able to change her mind. They were thrown together by a local murder trial, Liann as the prosecutor and Cody as the investigating officer, but he didn't seem content to let their relationship stop at business.
