At the end of the seventeenth century, the Native American woman Tituba is captured and enslaved, marking the beginning of one of the most tragic dramas in United States history: the Salem witch trials. Judith Herbst, while preparing for a performance of Arthur Miller's "The Crucible," becomes deeply engrossed in Tituba's harrowing story. When she gives birth to a daughter, the child exhibits many inexplicable traits. Is Judith's daughter a reincarnation of this witch?
