In the remote region of Hinterkaifeck in Upper Bavaria, six people were brutally murdered in 1922. These killings remain one of the most enigmatic crimes in German criminal history. The eerie events that unfolded on the farm, located between Augsburg and Ingolstadt, in the days leading up to the fateful night continue to send chills down our spines. The crime itself raises numerous questions: How were four of the six residents lured to their deaths? And why was the investigation focused on "robbery murder" when little was stolen?
