The world has undergone countless changes since the Hamsa Gita was published millennia ago. However, despite the myriad civilizations and cultures that have come and gone, human nature has fundamentally remained the same. The battle that rages between our strengths and weaknesses, our values and virtues, our altruism and selfishness is the same battle humans have fought throughout the ages. That is why this text, with profound relevance to modern life, remains as powerful today as it was centuries ago. In truth, we came to this world to overcome our deficiencies and manifest our real nature: divinity. The Hamsa Gita offers readers clear, pragmatic advice about what is needed to realize Truth and attain God-realization. It is a timeless masterwork. Paramahamsa Prajnanananda's inspiring and thought-provoking commentary adds to the beauty of this text. His compassionate understanding of human nature and human dilemmas speaks to all seekers on the spiritual path.
