Amos Decker's life changed forever twice. First, as a towering athlete from Burlington, he became the only local to go pro, but his career ended abruptly due to a violent helmet-to-helmet collision, leaving him with an extraordinary ability: he can never forget anything. The second life-altering event occurred nearly two decades later when, as a police detective, he returned home to find his wife, young daughter, and brother-in-law murdered. With his family gone and the killer's identity shrouded in mystery, Decker's world collapses. He leaves the police force, loses his home, and ends up on the streets, taking sporadic jobs as a private investigator. Over a year later, a man confesses to the murders, coinciding with a horrific event that threatens Burlington. Decker is called back to assist with the investigation, seizing the opportunity to uncover the truth about his family's tragic fate. To reveal the shocking reality, he must utilize his unique abilities while confronting the painful memories he wishes to forget. Ultimately, he may face the ultimate sacrifice in his quest for answers.
