    Americký novinár Edgar P. Snow sa preslávil svojimi dielami o čínskom komunizme a revolúcii. Je považovaný za prvého západného novinára, ktorý viedol rozhovory s čínskym komunistickým vodcom Mao Ce-tungom. Jeho najznámejším dielom je kniha opisujúca čínske komunistické hnutie od jeho vzniku do konca 30. rokov.
