Als eine außergewöhnliche Begegnung von zeitgenössischer Architektur, historischen Kellergewölben und langer Weinbautradition präsentiert sich am Rande der niederösterreichischen Weinstadt Langenlois die Weinwelt LOISIUM: ein Eingangsgebäude in eine unterirdische Kellerwelt, ein Hotel und ein Wein-Kunst-Garten. Das u-förmige Hotel und den leicht gekippten Aluminiumkubus des Eingangsgebäudes plante US-Architekt Steven Holl. Das Konzept dazu lieferte ihm die Geometrie der Weinkeller, deren multimediale Inszenierung entwarf das Kreativteam Steiner Sarnen Schweiz. Das vielteilige Projekt wird spannungsreich dokumentiert und anhand von Interviews und Essays über die Region sowie über das Phänomen von Stararchitekten und ihren Bauherren in einen größeren Kontext gestellt.
