Juan de Valdés bol španielsky náboženský spisovateľ, ktorého dielo sa zaoberalo duchovným životom a reformáciou. Jeho písanie sa vyznačovalo hlbokou introspekciou a snahou o osobný vzťah s vierou. Valdés skúmal zložité teologické otázky s dôrazom na jednoduchosť a pravdivosť. Jeho práca ovplyvnila náboženské myslenie svojej doby.
