Emma Weimannová si už v mladosti želala živiť sa písaním. Hoci jej sny o dome pri mori a písacom stole s výhľadom na oceán ešte nie sú celkom naplnené, úspešne sa živí písaním a tiež vydávaním kníh. V roku 2011 založila vydavateľstvo Ylva Verlag a v roku 2012 jeho medzinárodnú pobočku Ylva Publishing. Okrem poviedok sa venuje aj písaniu románov, pričom jej tvorba sa vyznačuje hlbokým vhľadom do ľudskej duše a pútavým štýlom.
