    Microstructure informed modeling of cleavage fracture
    • The present thesis contributes to the understanding of fracture micromechanism and accurate fracture prediction of a ferritic-pearlitic steel by proposing a new phenomenological model-generalized Orowan model. In addition, a micromechanical model is also proposed linking the microstructure to the phenomenological material parameters.
