This volume systematically covers the literature on organoiron compounds, specifically focusing on ferrocenes, up to the end of 1984, with some more recent references included. A formula index for volumes 7 and 8 provides easy access to the compounds discussed. The text continues to explore ferrocenes (FeC HRR) where at least R contains C, H, and O, building on the previous volume's coverage of compounds like alcohols, phenols, esters, ethers, acetones, and aldehydes. Series A consists of volumes A1 to A8, with an overview provided in the preface to volume 7 (1980). Data is presented in tables with abbreviations and without dimensions for brevity; detailed explanations and dimensions can be found on the following page. The solvent mentioned in parentheses after the melting point indicates the solvent used for recrystallization.
