Cracks in a Glass Ceiling NZ Women 1975-2004 by Joyce Herd (based on research by Claudia Bell) was commissioned by the Otago Branch of NZ Federation of Graduate Women to follow up the 1975 surveys What Price Equality? and Women at Home. This book looks critically at developments in women's lives since that date. The book is based on a large number of interviews with women throughout New Zealand, providing a provocative comparison of the present situation with the past.
