This book puts forth the case that this ideology is not new but is at the core of Islam and examines the doctrinal and ideological roots of Islamic fundamentalism. As we understand the premise upon which Islamic fundamentalism is built, we are compelled to pursue the millions of Muslims who have zeal without knowledge with the life-changing truth of the gospel. In our Western culture where religion is irrelevant and God is ignored, we can scarcely understand the zeal for Allah that Muslim Fundamentalists demonstrate. But it is zeal without knowledge. David Zeidan desires to awaken in us a concern for the millions of Muslims who have a zeal for God without knowledge, and to inspire us to pursue them all the more with truth of Christs love, compassion and the message of the gospel.
