Im Fokus steht die Analyse der Gestaltung des Werkes "Schattenspringer" und deren Einfluss auf die kulturelle Begegnung. Zunächst werden die Begriffe Kultur und Autismus definiert, gefolgt von einer Beschreibung der kulturellen Bereiche im Werk. Die Arbeit beleuchtet, wie die Gestaltung die Erfahrungen zwischen Autisten und Nicht-Autisten prägt. Abschließend wird die Bedeutung von Graphic Novels im modernen Deutschunterricht thematisiert und Vorschläge zur Unterrichtsgestaltung gemacht.
