The exhibition "Prometheus 2017" highlights the works of four Mexican artists who reinterpret the themes of José Clemente Orozco. Organized by Rebecca McGrew at the Pomona College Museum of Art, the showcase runs from August 29 to December 16, 2017. The book serves as a companion to the exhibition, exploring the contemporary artistic dialogue inspired by Orozco’s legacy and the cultural significance of their interpretations.

This is a study of the reciprocal relationship between Mexican muralism and the three major Mexican museums-the Palace of Fine Arts, the National History Museum, and the National Anthropology Museum.
