Tato kniha zpochybňuje mnohá dogmata. Snaží se odkrýt propagandu Impéria, jeho dogmata i zločiny. Kniha je přímým výsledkem několika let strávených na cestě, v zákopech, v nepočitatelně mnoha slumech, metropolích a frontových liniích. Pracoval jsem na všech kontinentech a pohyboval jsem se shora dolů, rozprávěl jsem s elitami klientelistických států i s těmi nejchudšími z chudých, s gangstery a vojáky, vědci, umělci, horníky i sedláky. Také jsem se setkal s několika velkými mysliteli, prezidenty, zkorumpovanými úředníky a podnikateli, veliteli praporů, masovými vrahy a falešnými proroky. V mnoha chudých zemích jsem potkal tu nejcyničtější rasu lidských bytostí – služebníky a podržtašky Impéria.
