Benedikt Jozef Groeschel bol americký františkánsky rehoľník a katolícky kňaz, známy ako majster duchovných cvičení, psychológ a aktivista. Svoje pôsobenie venoval duchovnému rozvoju a práci s ľuďmi v duchovnej oblasti. Jeho hlboké porozumenie ľudskej psychike a spiritualite sa odrážalo v jeho písaní a verejných vystúpeniach. Bol tiež zakladateľom komunity Františkánskych bratov Obnovy a inšpiráciou pre mnohých.
