George Forster Poradie kníh

    Johann Georg Adam Forster bol prírodovedec, etnológ, cestovateľ, novinár a revolucionár. V mladom veku sprevádzal svojho otca na niekoľkých vedeckých expedíciách, vrátane druhej plavby Jamesa Cooka po Pacifiku. Jeho správa z tejto cesty významne prispela k etnológii polynézskych národov a zostáva uznávaným dielom, ktoré položilo základy modernej vedeckej cestopisnej literatúry. Forster je považovaný za jedného zo zakladateľov tohto žánru.
