Before Girls Grew Breasts is a collection of stories set in Howth, a pretty peninsula outside Dublin City, that begin at the age of five years old and end in early teenhood. Written in Townsend's late teens, the stories are a tongue in cheek approach to family life and the events we go through to become adults.
