Třicítka humorných návodů, jak svou zahrádku zbavit nevítaného podzemního hosta. Jak "zničit krtka" - to je nejen námět jednoho z dílů nejslavnějšího českého večerníčku, ale též tíživý problém řady nejen českých zahrádkářů. From the abundance of Post-Modern photographic strategies currently in use this book focuses upon what is surely the most the "constructed" photograph. The term refers to works of photography in which the motif has been staged especially for the picture and in which the respective artist, in addition to his role as a photographer, also plays the part of director, stage and costume designer, make-up artist and from time to time of performer as well.The main section of the book is followed by a selection of works that recapitulates the pre-history of the "arranged and staged" photograph beginning in the late 1960s and recreates the climate in which the photographer-stagecrafters of the 1980s found their point of departure.

Thomas Zipp, born in 1966, studied under Martin Kippenberger in Frankfurt and then continued at the Slade School of Fine Art in London. His imagery blends New Age thought patterns with provocative spiritual religion, cults, myths, drugs and violence. Achtung! Vision presents his paintings, drawings, collages and installations since 2003, including a number of very new and never-before-seen works.

Die Monografie zeigt Schlüsselwerke des Künstlers Francis Picabia aus allen seinen Schaffensphasen. Ziel ist es, den ständigen Stilwechsel Picabias genauer zu untersuchen und zu verdeutlichen, wie aktuell seine Kunst bis zum heutigen Tag ist. Die These besagt, dass die aktuelle Kunst seit Beginn der Postmoderne ein Nachkomme der subversiven Gedanken dieses Künstlers ist. Das Buch enthält eine umfangreiche, illustrierte Biografie sowie eine vollständige Bibliografie und ein Ausstellungsverzeichnis.

By the time of his death from AIDS at the age of 31, Keith Haring (1958-1990) was already a wildly successful and popular artist. Haring's original and instantly recognizable style, full of thick black lines, bold colors, and graffiti-inspired cartoon-like figures, won him the appreciation of both the art world and the general public; his work appeared simultaneously on T-shirts, gallery walls, and public murals. In 1986, Haring founded Pop Shop, a boutique in New York's SoHo selling Haring-designed memorabilia, to benefit charities and help bring his work closer to the public and especially street kids, with whom he never lost contact.

Andrew Gilbert's cartoon-ish history paintings dramatize British colonialism in India and Africa, through depictions of clashes in the Hindu Kush, the Zulu wars and in Amritsar. This smartly designed volume gathers Gilbert's grotesque, surreal and sometimes violent narratives, produced over the past two years.
