Grant Morrison dokázal, že zvládá jak psychedelické podivnosti, tak monumentální akční superhrdinské (a taky trochu psychedelické) eposy. Jeho období patří k jedněm z nejslavnějších v dějinách X-Menů... na čemž má zásluhu také precizní kresba Ethana Van Scivera, Franka Quitelyho a dalších.
