William Patrick Corgan, Jr. je americký spevák, skladateľ, gitarista a občasný básnik. Je hlavným vokalistom a gitaristom alternatívnej rockovej skupiny The Smashing Pumpkins, známej svojim komplexným, vrstveným štýlom a Corganovým charakteristickým vokálom a gitarovými sólami. Hudobný novinár Jim DeRogatis ho označil za „najtradičnejšiu rockovú hviezdu“ alternatívnej éry, so všetkými jej dobrými a zlými vlastnosťami. Po rozpade kapely v roku 2000 Corgan krátko založil skupinu Zwan a po vydaní sólového albumu a zbierky poézie obnovil The Smashing Pumpkins.
