Summary: "De Pantheon route", verschenen ter gelegenheid van het vijfentwintigjarig jubileum van Pantheon Boekhandel, voert de wandelaar door de Nieuwmarkt- en Plantagebuurt. De route komt langs tal van bekende en minder bekende bezienswaardigheden, zoals de Dokwerker, de Hollandse Schouwburg, de Hermitage, de Stopera, de Oudemanhuispoort en de Waag. De duur van de wandeling wordt bij benadering geschat op één tot anderhalf uur, maar kan gezien het ruime aantal gezellige cafés op de route en de lezenswaardige verhalen in deze gids wel eens flink uitlopen. Ko van Geemert (1950) is geboren en getogen in de Amsterdamse Plantage. Over deze buurt schreef hij diverse boeken. In 2005 verscheen een bloemlezing uit zijn gedichten: "Een klacht van geluk". Daarnaast publiceerde hij "Amsterdam & zijn schrijvers".
