Manufacturing Technology: volume 2 has been written not only to satisfy the requirements of the Business and Technician Education Council standard unit for Manufacturing Technology at levels three and four, but also to satisfy the main requirements of those students following college devised syllubuses. At the design stage of this text, most of the colleges and polytechnics offering HNC/HND in manufacturing engineering were sent a questionnaire requesting information concerning the topic areas and treatment they would like to see incorporated.
